If this is your first experience of Via Ferrata activity, you may want to consider going for Walk the Torq itinerary. This route is designed for climbers with average fitness, and it would also be suitable for families with children with a minimum age of 10 years old & 1.3 metre in height. The average duration for completion of this activity is approximately 2-3 hours.
For any avid thrill-seekers or adrenaline-junkies, this is definitely the way to go! Walk the Torq doesn't require any special skills, so it's open for anyone who wants to take the experience to even greater heights!

Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation centre attracts tourists and researches alike, giving them the opportunity to watch Orangutan up close in their natural habitat. A boardwalk which leads to a viewing gallery and feeding platform where the apes are fed milk and bananas twice a day at 10am and 3pm by rangers. Feeding time also attracts long-tailed macaques to the area.
Sukau, the lower Kinabatangan area is one of Sabah's most splendid natural treasures and the area is teeming with many rare and endangered animals from the fascinating proboscis monkey, Orangutan, the estuarine crocodile, and a spectacular assembly of birdlife and if you are lucky, you might even come across the Borneo Pygmy Elephant. A river cruise is the best way to spot these 'local residents' - an adventure you won't soon forget!
Climbing Mt Kinabalu can be done in 2 days but a more comfortable climb in 3-days are recommended to acclimatise to the altitude and fully enjoy the rich biological diversity - the exotic rare plants, orchids, birds and many more.
While it does not require skills to do the climb, climbers must at least have a basic fitness level. Park regulations require climbers have to engage the services of a registered mountain guide.
