We did a Borneo Trails Tour from the 7th of September to the 14th September and wanted to share some feedback. We really loved our stay in Borneo and would like to thank our guides Walter and Jal and also Herman (for a short time on Selingan) for the great time we had and how much fun they made our trip. We learned a lot from them and they always answered our questions and explained a lot.

We are also grateful for our drivers whom we can’t all remember, but we would like to say a special thank you to Dumid (probably spelled wrong) and Rexy Ricky, who really tried to fulfill all of our wishes. Thank you.

We’ve just arrived home safely, with our hearts full and memories overflowing. It was truly an amazing holiday with Borneo Trails—an experience we’ll cherish forever.

Mr. Walter was exceptional throughout the journey—so thoughtful, patient, and caring. We’re deeply grateful to have been guided by such a kind and genuine soul.

Thank you so much for all the wonderful arrangements. Everything was so smooth and well-planned, and it made us feel completely at ease from start to finish.

We will definitely travel again with Borneo Trails. Until then, we’ll hold on to these beautiful memories and the warmth we felt in Sabah.

We would like to commend two of your employees for their wonderful guiding and driving on our recent trip to Borneo Their names were Sarah and Roy. We booked our trip through Trip a deal and were lucky to have an 8 day private tour from Kota Kinabalu to Sandakan. Sarah was exceptional in her care and knowledge and Roy was a wonderful driver. They both were great company. Please let them know how much we appreciated their support.

Our guide is brilliant and knowledgeable. Nothing was too much trouble for Brendan and he went the extra mile on several occasions. Our accommodation was clean and comfortable. Our dinners at various restaurants were consistently fabulous. Planning was faultless. The trip ran smoothly. Our driver avoided as many potholes as way possible. Seeing the birds and animals of Borneo was a definite highlight. We loved every minute.

I wanted to get in touch with you as my son was the one bitten by a viper earlier this month at Sepilok Orangutan Rehabiliation Centre and I would like to provide some feedback on your amazing employees, Lina, Bennie and our driver, Aslen (sorry, I’m not sure how to spell his name).

I have never met such kind, generous and caring people. They went out of their way to ensure we were able to communicate with the hospital staff, they ensured we were fed and comfortable and transported wherever we needed to go. Lina paid for food and lent us money, she brought food from her own home and brought gifts for my son. They all showed such care and concern at such a difficult time for our family.

You must be so proud to have them working at Borneo Trails. We can’t thank them enough for everything they did for us. I hope they are recognised and rewarded for their incredible contribution to your company. We will never forget their kindness and compassion.
