Arrive at Mulu National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its spectacular cave systems and untouched rainforest. Upon arrival, transfer to your accommodation and immerse yourself in the serene jungle surroundings. In the afternoon, embark on a 3KM plank walk to Deer Cave, home to one of the largest cave passages in the world, and Lang Cave, known for its intricate limestone formations. As the sun sets, witness an awe-inspiring natural spectacle millions of bats emerging from Deer Cave in a mesmerising flight (weather permitting). Return to your accommodation for a restful night.

The adventure continues with a longboat ride up the river, passing lush rainforest landscapes, en route to the Penan Settlement, where you’ll experience the unique lifestyle of the indigenous Penan people. Explore Wind Cave, named for its cool breeze and stunning limestone formations, before heading to Clearwater Cave, where an underground river flows through fascinating rock formations. Enjoy a picnic lunch by the crystal-clear waters before returning to your accommodation for the night.

After a hearty breakfast, bid farewell to Mulu’s breathtaking wilderness. Transfer to Mulu Airport, taking home unforgettable memories of this spectacular rainforest adventure.

Full Itinerary

DAY 1
MULU NATIONAL PARK / DEER & LANG CAVES

Upon arrival at Mulu airport, transfer and check in Mulu National Park HQ for check in at Park accommodation (Twin/ Triple share).

Afternoon, depart for a three KM plank walk to Deer Cave and Lang Caves.

Late afternoon, observe the millions of bats coming out from the vast mouth of Deer Cave which will be a memorable occurrence (Only during fine weather)

Return to park for overnight.

DAY 2
MULU NATIONAL PARK / WIND & CLEARWATER CAVES / PENAN SETTLEMENT / CAMP 5

Depart by a long boat going up river to Wind Cave via Penan settlement. Visit the settlement and observe the lifestyle of this tribe.

Visit Wind Cave and explore the limestone formation of this unique eco system.

Continue the journey by plank walk to Clearwater Cave where more interesting stone can be seen. Picnic lunch at Clearwater summer huts.

Return to accommodation and overnight

1. Child rate is applicable when child share same room with 2 adults
2. Return transfer between accommodation and Airport is NOT INCLUDED in the package except for Marriott resort stayer (Marriott Resort provide shuttle transportation service for all guests). However, upon request we can arrange transfer service for Mulu National Park HQ stayer as well. (Transfer fee is to be paid directly to driver.)
3. In case of cancellation for a part of tour or whole tour due to flight delay or flight cancel, NO REIMBURSEMENT shall be made.
4. In case of flight delay or flight cancel, please do reach us as soon as possible.
