He was also a excellent driver. Further on , he took great effort to arrange all kind of things for us , and he got things done I think most other guides wouldn't have. Hi Olivia,

All safely back from Borneo and just wanted to say thank you very much for all your help in organising the holiday. All the transfers worked perfectly with both drivers being very friendly and very punctual of all four occasions.

The Orang-utan sanctuary was a real hit for us all and although not as authentic an experience as Sepilok (see later), we were amazed at how close to the young apes we were (less than 1 metre on some occasions). The sand flies had a bit of a feast on us which was a nuisance but our own fault in forgetting the insect repellent for one afternoon.

The Air Asia flights over to Sepilok were great and we were met by Jamie (our guide) who came highly recommended from Karen and Caroline's recent familiarisation trip. Sepilok was very interesting to see the apes in a more natural environment. The drive from there over to Sukau was a bit long - but Borneo nature Lodge was very comfortable. The food was also very tasty and the boat trips on the Kinabatangan (both afternoon and night-time) revealed a great variance of wildlife. The Gomantong caves were smelly and generally quite revolting but also very interesting. Jamie did a grand job and made the whole excursion most enjoyable.

Our final night was in the Meridien which was also a very good choice - being very comfortable and convenient though sadly had to leave at 04.15am so didn't appreciate the full benefits.

We have now returned to Australia and would sincerely like to thank you and your team for your extremely efficient and courteous service.

From the moment we were met at KK airport by a very friendly man (sorry can't remember his name) who had excellent English and gave us valuable information on the way to the hotel until we were picked up promptly yesterday for our return trip, we have nothing but praise for your company.

To you personally, your promptness at returning emails and providing information was invaluable and was really appreciated. Especially, the time you took on your day off to respond to us and phone calls to the hotel confirming pick-up times.

Congratulations on an excellent service - we will certainly recommend you to friends who may travel to KK, and hopefully we will return in future and explore some more.
